With a free unlimited time demo and the option to unlock the full version through in-app purchases, this game offers an immersive gaming experience. Please note that only the full version allows players to save their progress.

In NEO Scavenger, players find themselves in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where survival is paramount. With each turn, you must make crucial decisions about where to go, scavenge for supplies, and how to handle encounters with others. As time elapses, hunger, dehydration, fatigue, and the freezing cold become increasingly pressing concerns. Choose your starting abilities wisely, as they will be the key to your survival in this apocalypse!

 <li>No Grinding: There are no experience points or leveling-up mechanics in NEO Scavenger. Instead, progress comes from enhancing your understanding of the game mechanics and utilizing your strengths effectively.</li>
 <li>Semi-Random: Much of the map is randomized in each playthrough, including the location of ruins, creatures, weather conditions, and certain quest options.</li>
 <li>Sandbox or Story: Engage in a search for clues about your identity, what happened, and who is pursuing you. Alternatively, test your survival skills against adversities posed by nature and other humans. The choice is yours!</li>
 <li>Abilities and Flaws: Tailor your character each time you play by selecting unique combinations of abilities and flaws. Different combinations unlock various abilities and quest options.</li>
 <li>Crafting: Enjoy an extensive crafting system that enables you to combine similar items creatively. Make use of resources such as half a pair of binoculars to craft a rifle scope, or a pill bottle and pebbles to create a noise trap.</li>
 <li>Desperate Combat: Engage in detailed combat using moves like "Tackle," "Lure," "Kick While Down," "Demand Surrender," and "Threaten."</li>
 <li>Realistic Wounds: Experience complex wound simulation for creatures, including multiple wound locations, infection, bleeding, and pain management.</li>
 <li>Realistic Metabolism: Monitor your character's hypothermia, fatigue, thirst, hunger, disease, intoxication, shelter, and other vital needs.</li>
 <li>Realistic Inventory: Manage a complex inventory system with slots for holding items, wearing equipment, using containers, and more. Fit items into grid spaces while also managing encumbrance.</li>
 <li>Hex-Based World Map: Traverse ruins, hills, forests, and plains on a hex-based map. Line-of-sight, elevation, and daylight play significant roles in gameplay.</li>
 <li>Tracking: Observe tracks and spoor left by creatures on the map, both to follow them or hide your own movements.</li>
 <li>Hiding: Utilize hiding mechanics to avoid detection while travelling or during story encounters.</li>
 <li>Hunting: Set traps for small game or hunt down larger prey for food and fur on the map.</li>
 <li>Foraging: Search for edible plants and water sources, utilizing special skills to identify safe and suitable options.</li>
 <li>Creature AI: Experience realistic behavior from wandering creatures as they engage in hunting, scavenging, hoarding, and responding to changing circumstances. Morale affects their decisions, and some may form groups to pose additional challenges.</li>
 <li>Dynamic Weather: Immerse yourself in the game's atmosphere with real-world data-based temperature, rainfall, and night/day cycles for an autumn setting. If you survive long enough, you may even witness snowfall.</li>
